When to start an application/how

So I am a junior in high school and I just applied for the USAFA summer seminar and pretty clueless about the actual application. I know I have time but I don't know how/what nominations are needed and yeah so basically anything you say will help. Thank you.

Can’t do anything else at this point. Early March you will find out if you get into SS and they will alert you if you will be a qualified candidate. At that point they will follow up around July with the application portal.
Go to your 3 MOCs and find their SA information...most will start taking applications around March but will require end of junior year transcripts to complete ap.

You're already on the right track if you know you want to apply! Get started early, I'd say focus on nomination applications first. Look up the nomination deadlines for your MOC and two senators, also the VP. DS's MOC had a deadline of Sep. 30 which is incredibly early so be aware of those deadlines.
