Where do high school students get their military uniforms even before they graduate?

I did some research, and it seems that uniforms are issued at basic training. If so, how could high school students wear their uniforms at graduation? Does it mean that these students went to boot camp before their senior year and got the uniforms?

Are you sure you didn’t mistake them for being JROTC cadets? Also many schools wouldn’t allow you to wear anything that is apart from the gown and cap at graduation, as that is the rules.

Some HS students wear "military uniform" even during graduation because they are enrolled in a HS Military Academy

Thank you for your response first of all! My school doesn't offer JROTC and it seems that one of the students took a picture wearing her military uniform. She said she's in the Army reserve in addition to going to a state university.

You can go to reserve basic training between junior and senior year as long as you are 17 before, I believe.
