Where to buy boots/Recommendations

I recently bought Women's Bates Leather Oxford Dress Shoes, but noticed earlier today that the "Boot Memo" for the class of 2026 lists only the DLATS (Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support) Leather Oxfords brand as authorized women's dress shoes. Meanwhile, the Men's shoes have both DLATS and Bates as their brand options.

Even though the Bates brand is listed as an option for men's footwear, does this mean that it is not an option for the women's version, since it is not explicitly listed as authorized footwear?

I'll let others opine, but I think you are ok. The cadet store was still offering Bates for female cadets last I looked. This is only a guess, but rumor has it that the Bates Light line is becoming harder to find (particularly in women's sizes) because they are discontinuing production. My DD is wearing the Bates if it is any solace. FYI, some have claimed better fitment with the DLATS.

Thank you, that does help. I ordered the Bates off Amazon so that’s probably why they were easier to find. Interesting rumor- I actually had more trouble trying to find the DLATS last night but that’s probably more due to my location. Thanks!
