Is there a specific website or place to buy scale model aircraft of the Navy airframes-P8,e/f18, Osprey, helicopters, etc. that you recommend/ are high quality? Tia.

This might take a little extra research, but the actual aircraft manufacturers sometimes have an employee store that sell scale models. A query to the appropriate plant could point you in the right direction. I had a UH-1N that was gifted to me. They got it from the Bell-Textron plant in Texas. As an aside long ago when we had NAS Cubi Point in the PI, local artisans made beautiful hand carved and painted squadron scale aircraft complete with the pilot's name under the canopy. Happy hunting.

Might have some luck with finding someone with a 3D printer. I have a T-6 on a stick my friend 3D printed for me
Can a 3D printer make a small drone that looks like one, that is operational?

How big can the payload be? 😂

I’m looking at buying a custom PLA H6 of the type that harassed CSG3 while DD was a FIWO. Found these guys: www.scalecraft.com.

About $350 for a large PLA H6 model similar in size to the E6 and B2 I have on my desk (about 20”x 17”) Wait on custom build (like the H6 is 14 weeks).

I think this P8 is in stock and $250 at 1:100 scale. Good luck

BTW: Osprey COD is listed at $280 and appears to be in stock. Im sure they do a Marine version but the custom will likely cost a little more and take much longer
