Who Is Still Waiting?

Surprised at no news so far today - the silence last week led me to think the HOLD group would see a larger than usual push this week ahead of 1 May... yet nothing so far.

Absolutely hilarious...I've got to keep a good sense of humor ...b/c the waiting is painful lol!!! fyi our DD is on hold since the beginning of February...If we don't hear anything today, I guess it will be May 1st and beyond. Grateful our DD qualified (that's what hold means apparently) and still in the running but we sure hope it morphs into a Principal Appointment Offered real soon. Blessings and prayers for all of us still on hold and prayers for an offer soon!!!

here too.....HOLD since Nov.........ouch......kinda feels like DS is that fun game that got lost in the closet.... we will all hear soon I hope. Good luck to all that are .....still waiting....
 
Just remember. No news is good news. If you are on HOLD status you have a great shot at this point.
 
Gotta think tmrw will be the day. Most fence sitters have likely said they’re in or out. Also gotta think only a handful get slots after 1 May...less than 10? Also wonder when sponsored prep slots go out?
 
Anybody know when a formal "TWE" get sent from USMMA? Would it be right after May 1st? When does the hope of a "Hold" changing to some form of rejection become almost inevitable?

This is my 2 cents and my impressions from DS's class....

Based on when parents said their kids got notified, I remember being surprised at how many were notified after May 1st. I wouldn't want to guess. But after checking with DH, we both agree it was more than that, maybe double that or more.

The kids who have spots HAVE to accept by 5/1. Many are courteous and let KP Admissions know when they've accepted somewhere else. Some do not. Some are waiting on their first choice just like you and are hoping to hear by the Friday.

Bottom line: I know the waiting is awful. Don't lose hope.
 
Word on the street is that 230 have accepted their appointments and many offered appointments are waiting in medical waivers. The target # of acceptances is 280.

I am on hold w/ a granted waiver... how are my chances?
 
I think we are OFF the Waiting List! DS received call from Baseball Coach this morning that he received an Appointment. No change to the portal yet. YAYAYAYAYYAYAYAYYYAYAYAYAYAYAYAY:groupwave::bounce1::jump1:Thanks to each and everyone of you who has helped along the way BEST of luck to all remaining HOLDs. I'll go type it in to the DIY list... YES!

YES!!!! Welcome aboard Congrats
 
i am not sure how many are on hold /national waitlist. But if those med waivers don’t go through that increases the odds for those fully qualified
