Why did the military doctor do .... if it's not allowed for the Service Academies???

I don't disagree but young folks don't have enough life experience to know what the 'right' answer is.
…or the life experience to know what answering ‘yes’ could actually do. Open a can of worms that maybe doesn’t need to be opened.

At my son’s 12 or 13 year checkup they have the parents leave the room and give the kids a written “depression screening”. I don’t know for sure what questions are on that specific one but often times they are vague and of the “have you ever” sort. It was the middle of the Covid lockdown and he was cyber schooling and had hardly left the house in months. They wrote a referral to a counselor. My son asked why when we got home, he was not depressed, just tired of Covid lockdown. We did NOT follow up.

My son's doctor wrote down my son's weight of 169 in doctor writing (almost like pictography) and it looks like 109pnds. I had to email all to DoDMets all kinds of proof that the weight was incorrect and finally got a an appointment for 1/29 to get his weight again and waist circumference. I was so frustrated but I did give up. Is this normal?
