I cannot understand why the minimum and max are not listed, nor does it even say to look elsewhere for it. When my son was at the summer seminar and asked what the requirements were, they only said the max. He thought he was fine because a minimum wasn't mentioned. WHY not include minimums???? Now he just realized by poking around the internet he is underweight. Application almost done. Due Nov.1 Uggggh. I needed to vent. I'm moving on, lol

Just have your family doctor write a letter saying his weight is not due to any health, emotional/mental issue. Send it to DoDMERB before they have a chance to request it. That's what we did. Worked like a charm. Has your DS done medical yet?

Usually it's not that difficult to get a healthy young person to gain weight. When I was a cadet, they had a "weight gain" table that got extra-large portions and the nutritionist would work with you to make sure you were on track to the desired weight.
(I kind of miss that metabolism!)

Is there any booklet for USMA appointee as well?
