Hi all,

My junior year science class was very weak(forensic science) so next year I am taking both Physics Honors and AP Biology, along with AP Calculus, AP English Language and Spanish 5(college course). I consider this a very good course load but I worry that they will only look at my junior year classes and grades, is this true?

Thanks

They will certainly look. The real question is how much will those classes improve your chance of admission as the 7th semester grades will not be out until near the SA application deadline and well after most MOC nomination application deadlines.

They will look very closely at Physics and Calculus regardless of whether it was taken Junior or Senior year. Obviously, 2nd semester senior year might be too late.

My 7th semster transcript raised my average GPA by .2, that with a bunch of ap stems, absoulty helped me become academically qualified

I had the same issue: forensics Junior year, had to make up for it with Chem and Physics this year. As a result, my 7th semester transcripts only showed 1/2 of a year in these classes, albeit with good grades. I just got a BFE today. Don’t worry and just do your best in those classes during your senior year. Good luck!
