Women in the Infantry?

Wow 10 years ago. I remember some of these people. Now, a woman is one of the best officers my son commands in his infantry companies.

Hi, checking in as 4 years past one of the first female recon platoon leaders in the 82nd airborne. No negative experiences to report. But it's fun to look back on this thread, when I was posting as an idealistic cadet!

Well- actually Women are not medics in infantry units- and they are not walking the hills with Infantry companies despite the popular reporting to the contrary- nor are they in special forces units.

Much has changed over the past 11 years.
