Hi The first time I submitted the request for Vice President nomination online, the website was behaving weird, after I clicked the submitted button, it hung for a while and the page was refreshed to an empty form.

Should I submit it again just be sure? Would it be a problem if they receive two duplicated requests?

Last year I sent in more than one request for the same reason. Nothing happened. Better safe than sorry as long as you don't sent in say 5 or 6 copies.

If it refreshed to an empty screen I would absolutely send it again.

Its as soapbox of mine…there really should be some sort of confirmation that it is received. But there isnt. Seems like an easy fix to avoid them receiving duplicates. That people do bc they dont know if it was received or not…circle of redundancy.

None of my guys ever got a confirmation of receipt from VP submission. They all did it a couple times to be sure. And ended up contacting the SA to make sure it was received by them. So you can also do that…confirm with your SA. BC that is who controls that nomination.

The screen always goes back to an empty screen after a submission. I know that Navy sent out confirmations that people applied one year, but they might have stopped doing that.

DS submitted two times to VP nom, due to this very issue. He asked USMA admissions if they "see" in their file whether DS had submitted a request for a VP nom. USMA replied "no VP nom".

So DS submitted again for the third time. Now we're thinking whether USMA thought DS was asking whether the VP nominated him, instead of whether an application was opened to request for VP nom.

I think USMA misunderstood the question.
