I would say so. Funny, I just talked to the oral surgeon's office today to find out when my son had his removed.

We were instructed that oral surgery like wisdom tooth removal would not fall under this. This question refers more to ENT type surgery, i.e. sinuses, ear or throat intervention.

So where did you list wisdom tooth extraction, assuming you had them removed?

Yes. When in doubt, list. It’s a surgery of the jaw. It may not be listed anywhere else bc it’s included with this category.
I agree. But someone else said they were told it didn't fall under that question. I was merely asking where they felt it would be included.

I’d say put it down so they know you got your wisdom teeth taken out already. I am not a doctor, but those surgeries don’t really DQ people unless it went horribly wrong with a lot of complications. Nothing to worry about

The military likes to remove people’s wisdom teeth shortly after they join anyways so they don’t become a problem later on

We updated USNA and DoDMERB when our daughter had her wisdom teeth extracted. It was a non-issue, but we wanted to keep everyone informed.
