Hard to tell. I’d say the review process would probably start in 2 weeks, but the actual process may take awhile.

In hindsight for my daughter’s application, that email served more as an acknowledgment that her app was received and would be reviewed rather than an indicator of a timeline. 2 or 3 weeks after that email she was expecting the review box to be checked in Bear’s Den, and it never happened! Honestly, I don’t think that box got checked until after she received her appointment!

My advice…take the email at face value and try not to stress about the timing.

I second what @Hope2BeA27BearDad said. Go through some (all) of the EA threads to see all the stress posts people were dumping onto the forum. I have a few. But now I'm in a 12-step program and feeling much better. Hopefully it'll help you avoid some stress yourself.

My DS and I had the same thoughts.From when he got that email to the time he received a phone call from the swim coach of his acceptance it was about 2 months. Lots of movement going one behind those official doors. That why they say patience is a virtue. Sip on a hot cocoa sized with some Baileys while you wait.

I don't think we're thinking about the same Baileys
