2020 Appointments

Does anyone know what the correlation is between the time we submit our application and the time we recieve a yes/no from USNA? My portal has said "complete pending review" with a nomination for close to two months now. Just wondering if there is a general time line or if it's random.

Same. It's alright though. Most of the appointments don't go out till later. I finished all the way in September and I have been waiting. I actually contacted my admissions counselor to make sure everything was good and she told me to send my transcripts for fall semester because I am not yet academically qualified but she said everything else checks out. Make sure you contact them, they really really help. We just got to be patient and wait for our time, I know how you feel when a bunch of people on the forums say they got their appointments and you kind of feel left out. Our time will come

Don't get concerned if same slate. DD had a two GA NOMS a few years back. Both slates she was on had individuals with LOA's. She is 2/c now. Remember one gets charged direct to the nominating source and the other nine go into national pool. WP had a huge number last year out of GA.
 
Thanks. Any other South Texas appointees????? San Antonio?? Hmu so we can do something sometime before I-day!

Congratulations!! Do you mean after your portal was updated to Offer of Appointment?
 
Will DS eventually get more info? The BFE contained a portfolio with a certificate of accomplishment for the offer of appointment. He accepted the offer online immediately, and the academy has already received the documents back from us that were listed on his portal. (Police record check, tattoo/piercing, and the proof of citizenship). Will there be more coming? I had the impression from this forum that there would be tons of paperwork to do and calendars. Etc. Maybe in this electronic age they just do everything through the portal?
