My DS wanted to change one of his schools for the Navy Board that happened same time as 2nd AROTC board and they told him it was fine if he got an offer to change. I know Army you can change but have to jump through some hoops would think would be a bit harder for Navy since there are fewer schools for them to disperse applicants among. The waiting for scholarship boards is so maddening especially when have colleges sending "You need to send the non-refundable reservation " My be prepared, and get it done and have everything squared away OCD is not doing well not to mention the more time we have to talk about the schools the harder it is to have a clear best option. In some ways I wish he had been one of those kids that was set on a dream school for years. His only goal is to have a military career. I have seen some people post things like " looking at plan C " Are people waiting like us for the school's financial Aid packets and Board responses to make a choice or has a definitive school been selected and the plan options been more about how to pay for that one or two must be it schools? Since we are all going slowly insane waiting what are everyone's plans creation processes, pros/cons lists, best or worst college visit moments, anyone get other financial aid packets that have swayed school decision. Have any applied to non ROTC schools that a scholarship would be worth risk of not getting a commission/slot at OCS?
