We have been slowly requesting medical records from my son's doctors from when he was young (< 9 yrs) to see what's in them.
In one record, when he was 4 yrs old, the doctor wrote that he had symptoms of ADD. We don't remember any conversation with that doctor about our son having ADD (for many reasons, didn't stay with that doctor even a year). In fact, we don't remember having a conversation with ANY doctor about our son having ADD. He has never taken meds, never had an IEP, never needed accomodations, etc. He is taking a college prep courseload and juggles many extracurricular activities successfully.
Would he check "yes" on DoDMERB form?
And would this trigger an automatic remedial and/or DQ?
