Also, considering how late they are being released they will most likely call and try to make an appointment for the same day. I know my det commander would call all of us immediately following the release to get in there and report in.

Did he mention the rated board? Or is going rated not a factor in selection?

If I have read the threads correctly, didn't the majority of non-techs opt rated? If that is the case it might be non-tech as a whole because now they may have too many rated non-techs.

I would really love to see if craniums will roll from an after actions perspective at HQ AFROTC.

What is this, the third year in a row with tweaking SFT?
 
Well it's Monday, time to test that rumor of a 95% chance we will find out today.
 
My prediction is still April 29th haha. Kinda like waiting, adds some excitement to the whole process.
 
Person at NATCON here - Col. Wydra briefed all the Cadets today and discussed EAs. He doesn't know the numbers yet or when EAs will be out, but is expecting the numbers to be low. In addition to that, he said if EAs are not out by the end of the week, FT may be cancelled altogether. He also said if that's the case that 200s should be proud of the work that they put in and know that there's nothing they could do to change the outcome.

C'mon!? Seriously? Could the AF really cancel an entire years (class) of AFROTC 200s? I can't believe that will actually happen. The AF will need some AFROTC 2nd Lts in a couple of years.

I'm sure your post will result in quite a bit of discussion and speculation.

Just curious about one thing, when you mentioned that FT could possibly be cancelled altogether, what does that mean for the cadets, will they all move forward or will they just come up with a number and make the needed cuts before the end of the school year. Sounds like cancelling FT could be a real mess.
 
I haven't heard anything about this from my son and he's attending NATCON.

Doesn't this contradict what two other poster said that were at NATCON?

Didn't one have a friend and another actually share a table during a meal with Col. Wydra?

And their two posts had similar information regards time frame and possible reasons for the hold up...

I would like to hear confirmation from some long time posters before I will let myself get upset over something so world changing.....

Just saying...
