We aren't shocked either and we weren't counting on it.
 
My DD got rejected as well. Must have been pretty competitive given she received ROTC scholarships from Army and Navy.

I have yet to see anyone who got one on this board. My DS missed the first board. He also received a 4 year AROTC.

Rejected here as well... Also received Navy ISR and some other things. Must have been very competitive this year.
 
Wonder how this relates to the manpower now and in the future of the USAF. I know a few years back afrotc had some cutbacks and inbound 3rd year students got their scholarships cut in mass. I think there was some reported blowback as a result of the afrotc cutbacks and they were able to get some of the kids back in. Maybe USAF officer retention has been good?
 
Daughter not selected. She was 99% certain she was going to stay with the AROTC 4 year, but no fun hearing you weren't selected! Good luck to everyone else!
 
Still waiting to see the first winner from the march board. This is rough!
 
DS was also not selected. Thankfully, he has a great option with Navy ROTC. I sure do hope some kids received the AF ROTC scholarship this board; otherwise, it feels like all the waiting and numerous decision date extensions were for nothing.
 
DD not selected either. Wow. Surprised that we aren't seeing at least some people who were selected.
 
Wow! I am shocked at no winners yet. Why did they even hold the March board?
 
I do see a few people added their names to the AF ROTC 2028 class thread since 3/31, though I don't know when their scholarship was awarded. Maybe the acceptances went out previously, and the rejections went out today.

Thankful that my DS also received the Naval ROTC scholarship esp after waiting for the AF delays only to be rejected
