Good luck to everyone! My DD has the scholarship, we just can't get the school situation ironed out. This whole process is sooooo stressful! I wish you all much luck.
What's the problem with the schools?

Only if you consider my checking the Cadet Command status for my son every 20 minutes or so today.
Anyway it just changed from "You have been selected for an interview" to "You may check your medical qualification status".
We'll see what happens. It's still far from over.
Frankly, I don't know what I'm going to do with myself once this process is over.
What's the problem with the schools?
Well, looks like it's over - and not the outcome we were hoping for.
Status hasn't changed, but PMS for my son's top school called back today to say he wasn't selected by the National boards, AND that - contrary to what he said previously! - there aren't any 4-year campus-based scholarships left, either.
He does have 3-year scholarships, but there's no way to make that work - no way can he afford to go to the first year without the scholarship. Accepted to 12 good schools, but no chance to go...
We are back to square one, trying to find a way for DS to go to school. He had always talked about wanting to serve, this seemed an ideal way both to serve his interests (academics and military service) as well as the needs of the military.
Thanks to all for your support and counsel. Best wishes to all in the process.
Unfortunately my daughter had a last minute change of mind and didn't want to go to a military college which is what she'd put down for most of her choices. So, she's been scrambling since being awarded the scholarship to apply to schools that are not military schools and the one she really wanted and had accepted the scholarship for just let her know this week she wasn't accepted. So....we're in panic mode! She's got state schools as options but really didn't want a state school either. Lesson learned....hopefully not too late!
PMS told us that CC should be all complete and posted tomorrow.
Said it looks like they made it up to the H's today.
So there is still hope for us at the far end of the alphabet.

I'm an "H" and my status still hasn't changed.

Maybe they didn't get to you yet.
What is your back up plan just in case?
