Congrats JS15000 on your scholarship! My DS also did his own application, and I guess that's why I searched for this forum, so I could learn more about where his life is headed. It's been a great source of information. I think one of the toughest things about waiting for the results on the 3rd board is that he will have to make a final college decision before the DODMerb results - which I realize everyone who doesn't get a national scholarship has to do the same thing. (I don't anticipate any medical issues, but.... it's that timing that's tough.) But there's nothing he can do but keep moving forward with what he wants to do - and that's to be an Army Officer. About a week and half ago, he did get a call from his #2 school - of course they didn't say a word about a scholarship, but they were just encouraging him to go their school. As mamamelton said above, plan "B" discussions are becoming exhausting... "if this, then that," "go ahead and sign up for housing at that school or this school?" So many decisions...and we want the next two weeks to go by quickly, and then life can slow down again.
