I would recommend, in the coming months, that you NOT remind him, at least, not in person! :shake:

Rather than start a new thread for this question, here it goes....

1.) My Mom is wondering how the squads line up at the swearing in ceremony on the 26th (she wants to be on the wall nearest the squadron I'll be in to maximize her chances of spotting me)

So, for people who know, lets say your looking from the wall of the chapel down at the terrazo; how are the squadrons lined up (1-40?)

OK, here's how it will be. From the Chapel wall, Aggressors will be on the far left, Jaguars will be on the far right.

Current cadets/former cadets...

How much running do you actually do during first BCT? I have heard from some that they run miles every day, and others who said they only run every other day and that is in groups so the pace is not grueling.

I'm not necessarily worried, just wanting to get more info so I sort of know what to expect.

Thanks for any advice!

My element leader from summer seminar said that they run around the terrazzo for 30 min or so during PT. I am not sure if that is every day. She said that as far as formal running goes, it was rarely more than 1.5 miles at a time. According to her- can't vouch for this- they focus more on upper body and core strength.
