This is not something you should just do it so you can meet the 1st board. Once submitted only the AFA can re-open that portal, you cannot and they don't offer that option on a whim. They have to believe your packet is strong enough and the hold back is really your CFA.
Take the time and practice. They never announce the mins, but they do publish the maxs.
If you can only do 5 Pull ups as a guy, and 18 is the max, you are hurting yourself by rushing it.
I always say this about the CFA, every point matters, and although the CFA is a small % of the WCS, the AFA eventually will have 1 spot left and 2 competing for that 1 spot. If you are okay losing that spot because you didn't do everything to get the highest CFA score than rush it, but if you are going to spend the next yr (freshman at college) wondering if you just did 1 more pull up would that have meant an appointment than don't submit until you know you can't do 1 more pull up. You have until Feb to complete your application.
