How long does it take for the TWE to get sent out? Its been about 2 weeks since I found out that I didn't get an appointment, but still haven't gotten the actual envelope... :confused:

That's a good question. Maybe Insider can help. I got mine a couple weeks ago. :confused1:
 
I got my TWE in the mail, but my portal hasn't updated, does that mean I could potentially be in the running for prep school? When do prep school offers go out?

My DD called her counselor on 13 April to find out that she was being evaluated for Prep School. Her status on the web portal changed on 18 April to Prep School (scholarship offered). She received her TWE on Saturday, 21 April for USAFA.

She just received her acceptance letter to Prep School today, 23 April. So, yes... anything is still possible. If you rather not wait, call your counselor and ask

Several posters reported receiving their P school Offer Letters from Admissions yesterday. I am guessing most of the rest will get them today. Still mailbox stalking!
 
Well, I just got back from church to find a "moderately sized yellow envelope" on my desk. Pleasantly surprised to say the least. :smile:
 
Just wanted to share with any remaining stalkers...

My daughter got a letter in the mail today offering her a 4 year type 2 AFROTC Scholarship! She never even applied for an AFROTC Scholarship. The first line of letter says "As a top US Air Force Academy non-select and based on your high academic standing, Air Force ROTC would like to offer you a scholarship"

I hadn't heard of this happening before, so I thought I'd share, just another possible good TWE that could be coming your way, even if you were not offered a USAFA appointment

Got the exact same letter as falconchic88 today. I am already in college and afrotc so as the letter states, i will be transferring to the three year type 2 scholarship. Its not the academy, but itll get the job done.
