Dunninia, you are so right. I think the college programmers are largely anonymous save for their family and friends. I can't tell you how many times I've had to explain to "civilians" that my son was in NROTC but still paying tuition. I've had people try to argue the point. Simply put there isn't enough public awareness about the plight of college programmers. These kids are out proving themselves everyday. Hungry competitors who should not be taken for granted.
