Yes it can be very expensive. They have a new scholarship called ACES that will give $21,000 to students that major in Aero science, several engineering degrees, and aerospace physics (I think). This is the Prescott campus. Plus they give an extra $5000 to girls.

Also have to have 3.5 GPA. Which prob isn't a problem for most of these candidates. Plus they have rolling enrollment so it's not too late to apply!

ERAU was my DS plan B last year & he loves it. Fantastic programs there. Got the TWE via portal Monday & it didn't appear to bother him at all.
Sorry about the TWE. This is the first one I have heard of anyone actually getting. I am glad your son is happy where he is. It does make it easier I am sure if they are happy where they already are. Is he going to try again next year for the academy?

If bad news comes, I'll be going to San Diego State University on an ROTC scholarship. Anybody else out there from California?

Is the $21,000 for the year? Four years?

Per year! My DD chose forensic bio so only got the Dean's Scholarship which is $15,000/yr. This is for the AZ campus --not sure if it's also for Daytona. It's not advertised on their website either. Their Chancellor told me about it.
