I admit getting appointed to West Point was really neat- my brother and dad are both army and it feels good to know that I COULD join them if I wanted. But still, holding out for USAFA!

Haha, thanks so much! No worries, if USAFA comes through for me, there's no WAY I'm leaving my beautiful mountains behind! I fell in love with USAFA 3 years ago. I would never turn my back on it if I have the choice!
 
Congrats Bailey! I've been watching this forum for months as we hold our breath for news from USAFA too...but so happy for your good news from WP! In the meantime I suppose we will all pray for virtuous patience together!!

So, If the "not so little bird" is correct, we will see many appointments tomorrow. Interesting that the appointments received since 3/12 have been phone calls and no portal updates. This scientific data means....Nothing? I would imagine it's the MOC slate currently being appointed.Someone mentioned that Thursday portals will be updated. With Spring break starting on Friday, I would imagine next week will be quiet. Hoping everyone hears good news, and Congratulations to those that have received an appointment. I am not sure I can wait another month.......Breathe....

Congrats! Where's he going to play next year? My oldest son was a recruited athlete and his jr/sr years were crazy.

Sounds like this was the best thing that could have happened to you, and your DS.
Service beyond self as an officer isn't for everyone, so glad that you received what you were after. Congrats and best wishes.
