I don't know about any of you parents, but this process has taken years off my life. Lol. I have done everything I can to allow my DS to do the work needed to get in, and make sure he is the one that is responsible for the process. It is a delicate balance that requires an enormous amount of trust in him. At this point based on everything I have read, I would guess he has about a 50% chance of getting in with his resume. Strong in most areas, but average in other areas. One thing is for sure, he wants it more than anything and will be a Naval Officer at some point.
It has been an emotional rollercoaster and I am quite frankly exhausted. With that being said we have learned quite a bit along the way, and I would love to share any help I can with other parents wherever they are in the process. We have made some mistakes, and done some things really well. I am happy to share our experience and knowledge.
Best of luck to everyone.
