Good Morning parents of 2013 Candidates.

There's a team of five midshipmen working diligently to take pictures of your son's and daughter's experiances during INDOC.

this site should be updated daily with new photographs. We are working with the head of the parent's association to get these pictures up on the academy website.

Thanks so much, saw my ds and he looked okay. The colorful shirt did help.
Any ideas, on the left hand it looks like a 1 and on the right hand a H?

Sorry reverse that, on the right hand there is a 1 and on the left hand there is an H.
 
Ok~I'm going to have to shut down my laptop and lock it away if I expect to get any work done today.

Sooooooooo glad to know we dropped DS off yesterday. Throgs Neck Bridge is closed today because of a fire.:eek:

Question: Is their company marked on their left fist? I see a 1 on his left fist but his picture is in between 2 2nd Co. pictures. :rolleyes:

It's been a long time since I've been on a roller coaster...............my fav is the one at Idlewild, built in among the trees, best at night with the shadows. Hoping this one will be my new favorite! :thumb:
 
I belive the company is on the right fist but the "H" actually stands for "HAIRCUT." Basically every guy gets a zero, so unless your soon reported bald they all have "H's" on their fist.
 
Yippeeeeeeeee! He thought he'd be in band company since he put band down for leadership purposes on his app. Only problem is that it conflicts with swim team practice.
 
Just FYI - being in Band Co is not a terrible thing, and there are plenty who also participate in sports. It requires a bit more work, but it is certainly doable.
 
Oh I know that band co. is not a terrible thing but after 5 years of band he wanted to be able to concentrate on academics and swimming and try new things. I'm sure if he had been in band co., he would have worked it out. My apologies if I gave the wrong impression.

Just noticed a blurb on the parents' page of the USMMA website that they will not be posting pictures to the website until Tuesday, July 14th. Hopefully, the mids will be able to continue posting to Picasa.

I think I'd be going slowly insane right now if I hadn't located DS in 3 of their pictures! Can't imagine what life would have been like in our house over the weekend if I hadn't been able to see the pictures until Tuesday! Thank you!
 
Life would be like it was back in the days when we had to send the film out to the drugstore to have the photos developed, and if we wanted to share them with our relatives across the country, we mailed them - the old fashioned way.
It may not be great for keeping up with the Plebe Candidates, but wasn't life simpler back then?
 
Found our candidate son (CS) in 5 pics..... what an eye test! He is in 3rd Co. Don't know much about anything related to being in each of the respective companies.....can someone give us a rundown on each of them.....if they have any unique things, how many in each "room" which ones do not have A/C, etc. etc.
 
I believe that the 2nd and Band companies are housed in non-air conditioned barracks.
