Well, Junior year is approaching for me and I'm really doing as much as I can to really get into the AFA (I want to fly, and major in Astronautical Engineering). I need some tips, or maybe some guidance, though.
Academic Achievement:
Grade 9, Semester 1:
My University GPA at this point is a 4.0, and my academic unweighted GPA (cumulative) is 3.94, according to my counselor. Next year, my classes are:
I'm currently a nominee for the N.S.H.S.S. (National High School Honor Society), and am planning to have a Boeing internship during my Junior year. I would join ROTC and tennis, but the lack of flexibility of my schedule (due to my AP/honors/accelerated classes) limits what classes I can take, at which periods; however, I'm still going to play for my school's tennis team all four years- I just won't have the conditioning period but that shouldn't be a problem because I self-condition, anyways. Also, I'm planning on joining Key Club and my school's Mock-Trial/Debate team. I've played Varsity Tennis since my freshman year, and will continue to play, and am hoping to play collegiate for the AFA.
Questions:
Any help would be appreciated, thanks

Questions:
- Because my grandpa is a veteran, will they take that into consideration when they look at my application?
- When should I begin to contact my my regional legislative office, inquiring about nominations?
- What's the "average" SAT/SAT II/ACT score for AFA cadets?
Any help would be appreciated, thanks
