Just got a call from my Senator!!

Your stats you posted earlier all look well above the minimums. So, either you don't have a Principal nomination or your FFR is incorrect.

Then again, I'm not on the board and don't have access to your entire file.

What is a FFR?

Field Force Rep., there's an acronym list on one of the threads that you can look at if you ever get confused!

Oh.. Well i do have a principle nom so hopefully my FFR is just mistaken kr something! I have not gotten any 3Q notice yet

Well then you're in a very good boat! The letter you'll get from WP that says your qualified should show up in you portal under the official correspondence and have the title "Candidate File Qualified". If you haven't gotten it yet then you should get it soon unless there's some minor detail that we don't see that would cause you to be disqualified. But all in all from what you've shared it looks like you'd be qualified. Then again, no one here sits on a board so nothing is for sure!

Do you have to have your 7 semester transcript reported to be qualified?

No. I got my qualification letter well before I uploaded my transcript, but you MUST submit your transcript to have your file completed. So you might as well submit your transcript now because all it can do is help you get one more step closer to receiving an appointment.

Sounds good! How long did you wait to get your 3Q letter after everything else was in?

I believe it was about 10 days after I had everything turned in, but I'm sure its different for everyone. Just hang in there and wait it out, thats all you can do!

Waiting is the worst thing ever. I hope I end up being qualified

Just to mention, I did NOT have my 7th semester transcript to be found qualified. I had a principal nomination, had the letter scanned in, a few days later, was found qualified without my 7th semester transcript. A week later, got my appointment. Send your admissions rep a picture of my letter so they can send it to your region commander. Then they can review your file for qualification.

Send which letter?

Send which letter?

I think jackiejyp7 is referring to the letter your MOC sent re. your principal nomination, if you received one. Don't worry though -- USMA will know that you have a principal nom. It won't be indicated on your portal as principal though.

So if WP requests a 7th semester transcript, that's a good thing? I thought it was just part of the process for everyone.

It is required, but if they specifically ask it probably means they want more information to evaluate your file before making a decision.

I never got a letter but if they know then that shouldn't be a problem. Thanks!

It is not indicated on your portal. They may or may not know. For me, they needed the letter that said I got the principal nomination to complete my file. Send the letter in case cause that could be what holds up your offer.

The MOC will submit his/her slate and if he/she uses the Principal nom, or ranked or competitive slate, he/she will indicate that to USMA.
