On a funnier note: today she told me about the giant anthills in the the woods and how she fell in one. Apparently those ants are nasty!!!

Have you seen pictures of the anthills? They look more like small homes. They're huge!

Glad your daughter is back from LDAC! Hooah!!

Got a quick phonecall from DS (he's in the field now, so I immediately thought he broke something!) No, he's heading to CTLT after LDAC and won't be home until 8/23. I am assuming that all is well if he's flying to South Carolina for more training.

Don't you just love those unexpected calls, can make your heart skip a beat.

Congrats to your son for getting CTLT, it should be a great experience, which branch will he be with. My son will be leaving the day after LDAC as well for CTLT, he will be at Ft. Bragg with the 82nd Airborne Infantry, he's looking forward to jumping again.

We got our first call from him tonight, he is with the 10th and will graduate Thursday, we live just over a hour away from Ft. Lewis so we will be able to attend graduation along with a car load of his friends. He had a great time, got an overall E, just missed Recondo and was #6 in the platoon, missed it by one, he is happy and we are very proud of him.

Congrats to you son, Jcleppe. Fantastic news!!!
I don't know anything more about my DS's CTLT experience other than it's at Ft Jackson. He said there is a letter in the mail letting me know the details, so I am stalking the mailbox...again! This mailbox stalking will never end!!!

Enjoy the graduation, I am sooooo jealous. Normally I would fly out at the last minute for that, but DS is not expecting me and we have been ordered to stay low key....and I just started a new job.... DARN!

Today is the 10k march, I'm sure DS is pysched to get this over with. Have a great time Thursday!
