March 8th, 2011 AROTC Board

Friday would be awesome! Even my DD (whom until this point has not seemed concerned) asked me yesterday when the results would be out. She is going to Alabama either way but just wants the decision to be made so if she doesn't get it can start trying for a scholarship as soon as she get on campus.
 
I just left government class! ha. It is good to here further validation from ROO/PMS from various schools. So far, what I've heard from my school's people has all been relatively accurate...so I have some strong faith in their opinion/speculation.
Here is hoping for the news soon-and the good news! Good luck everyone, and may the future struggles be somehow less stressful(/prolonged for extravagant supernatural reasons).

Will it only tell you if you were awarded, or will it give you a "sorry" message if you don't.

I mean, if actively typing takes all day...that's fine! At least there is forward progress and not just more "We will have them soon..." "Please wait while our staff works..." etc. Granted, it may even take the whole day tomorrow-equally fine with me. Actively typing is much better than being actively delayed.

okay guys i just checked mine and it switched to this message, "You are currently an active eligible applicant for an Army ROTC Scholarship. If all of the items below have been received then we have everything in order for your file to be reviewed by the Board." then it posts that they have everything but medical. I just read back in the forums and saw that it just finally updated and doesn't mean i have a scholarship.. Darn

That "new" message is as of like 3 days ago. It is an updated message. It should/may still read at the the bottom of that, that you have been selected for an interview. If that changes, I'd suspect you've gotten selected.
 
You guys are killing me...I don't see any offers being posted on my list, but being a relatively high cost private school I am not too optimistic I'll be the first to see offers. I did send an email to my Brigade this morning, asking for some word on whether offers were being posted, and of course I haven't heard anything back. You'd think someone from Cadet Command (beside me and Marist) would monitor this venue. I'll let you all know soon as I hear anything.
