another fishing trip

Again today is like being on a tuna boat. It is so great to see hits for the families out there, and everyone on the other side of the boat has a bent rod. For all of us whose bait is swiming around out there, they will start to hit sooner or later. Best wishes to all who have recieved great news today!!!

Hope for a Gr as well, only saw one G on Friday. Taking DS for his eye exam this morning and tomorrow is his medical. Pray with me for a scholarship offer to go along with it all!!! PLEASE!!!
 
Kansas Mom checking in the morning...no change for us yet. We are Wa - hanging in their with Kev Dawg's Pop and Niko's Mom for the staff member doing "W"s to get on the ball soon!!

One of DS classmates got a status change on Friday - he is Ca; they both have the same schools on their list. So there is hope that our brigade/battalion is getting some scholarships :smile:

Youtoo.. I can tell you have been Albacore fishing in your lifetime. There is no worse feeling than being on a boat with good gear, knowledge and experience, and everyone on the boat has a bent rod and me standing there holding herman. Its exactly the same here.. Its killing me...

I checked my ds's and it showed three schools- his top 2 as well as one lower down on his list. ROO at top choice confirmed on Fri was a 4 year . It's nice to know he has a choice but he is really committed to number 1. Number 1 and 2 are ops state schools and third one is in state Just fyi
 
DS got his top two schools. Both are in state so I think that why he got his top two.

Hi all,
I'm new to the thread... however, I have been following you all for months. I had to finally jump in. I can't take it anymore...and hope like many of you my kiddo hears something positive soon!

We are Cr... Have seen some C's on Friday and I'm worried. I just trying to keep the faith!

I'm getting a little rowdy here at work. Every time I check status and no update I get a little excited. Ugh - day please fly by!!:rockon:

#2 school is 4 year award and #4 school is 3 year award. Both in state with similar costs so not sure the rationale but it is what it is.

I heard that an E posted they received on Thursday a scholarship, we're Eh, so I'm a little worried too. Hope you have a solid backup for your DS -- SMP is the only thing keeping me sane right about now. Wish he didn't have to go that route, but we really need the extra help with the cost of school. DH lost a job 2 weeks ago and I'm afraid we won't qualify for a Parent loan. Before that was one of our backup plans. Things change so quickly.

Keeping the faith too.

Hope your co-workers are supportive!! I have no computer access at work, may have to go in @ 2 today...hoping something shakes lose before that...

Looks only at repayment history. Basically have you paid anything more than 90 days late? Obviously bankruptcy and foreclosure would disqualify too. They do NOT look at income, debt to income or credit score.

Not yet. No unemployment, so holding the basics down now, hoping some job prospects come soon. Hate to trash our GREAT credit, so maybe they'd let me sign for one, may default later, but would at least get DS where he needs to be, plus older DD will need us to take one for her too. Thanks for the input on their process.
