emcs14...if you go back to page 120 or so you'll see all the activity that went on here today. It's been another long day for those who still haven't heard. Hang in there!
 
Thx so much! I"m starting to gather that they weren't able to update everyone's today so I"m keeping my fingers crossed for tomorrow.

Im going back to my fishing analogy. Some days everyone has a bent rod and the fish are jumping into the boat, and some days you troll for endless hours and you get a strike here and there. Today was one of those trolling days. My gut (filled with a case of thin mints over the past 4 days) tells me that tomorrow they will be jumping in the boat. See you all in the AM:thumb:
 
Has anyone ever determined if you get a rejection letter in the mail if you do NOT get a scholarship? It may have been mentioned but there are too many posts to look through!

Evidently they changed the message system. Because I just logged in to check my scholarship(I'm an MSI who got a scholarship in Oct 2009) and saw a way more detailed message from CC.
Also goodluck to you all! It's worth the wait. Keep the hope alive.

In case you are wondering what it says,
You have been offered an Army ROTC Scholarship. We must receive your acceptance/declination by the date in your letter or the offer will be withdrawn. Your name will be sent to DODMERB the day your winner letter is printed. There will be about 72 workweek hours prior to being able to see your name in the DODMERB system.

You have accepted an Army ROTC Scholarship, pending medical qualification from Department of Defense Medical Examination Review Board (DODMERB), at ….

My ROO said that the offers go out today, but we won't know officially until Wednesday... How exactly does that work? My status hasn't changed yet, but there's still a chance for Wednesday?? Does they get notified but not me?

It has never been brought up if I remember yet and I do not know the answer to that.. I know that after the first and second boards, nothing was sent when no offer surfaced.

I beleive that if you do not receive a scholarship offer you will receive a letter in May. I know they send out a letter to the scholarship awardees to have them confirm they are accepting the scholarship. The year my older son received his scholarship, 2008, a fellow classmate that did not receive one got a letter sometime in May.
 
So whaddya guys think? Will the rest of the statuses be updated tomorrow or will it roll over into wednesday? I don't know about you but it's going to be a sleepless night.
 
Was on facebook a little while ago. I think they are very selective in which questions they answer and ignore. Why is it so secretive? What is the big deal with just openly letting us know when the results are expected to be completely released..... Oh, well. That's my rant for the evening. One glass of wine and now off to bed.

I will sure agree with that, I saw that they were very quick in responding to other questions regarding transfers and the status page, but not a peep (That's my Easter reference for the week) about results. I guess it must be above our paygrade.

Ohio, I'm one of the ones that asked a couple of questions of CC on facebook. I even tried posing the same question in a couple of different ways....they're not giving in. Don't understand what the secret is. One thing I have learned from my husband's military career is the military does it their own way and we are just along for the ride! Here's wishing good luck to everyone tomorrow!!

Good luck to you also!! My DS only has 26 days left also...and then graduates on 6/3! Just think we will all know by then:wink:
 
This is the day!?!?

Woke up to find an email from our ROO. He believes some more offers shall be posted today. Letters are supposed to be mailed out tomorrow.

DS has his DoDMERB medical exam this a.m. Hope to see a status change when we return!!
