From what I've read from other posters is that "most" of the time you will receive the BFE before you see a status change. It was also mentioned earlier today somewhere that the BFE's will be sent out Wednesday this week but I'm not 100% on that.

Also someone just told me that receiving an appointment doesnt mean that you are in. You still have to go to CO and have an interview. i told them this was incorrect but i wanted to confrim

An Appointment is an invitation to attend the Academy. There is no interview. That being said, ALL Appointments are conditional on the Appointee maintaining their grades (a "D" won't kill you, but you might have some explaining to do) and their medical status (hence the running joke about bubblewrap). Meet those conditions and show up on I-Day and you are in.
