Congrats!! I'm sure checking online this morning was an awesome change from the past couple of weeks.

Here's to hoping there are more Prep/Foundation spots out there, and maybe one coming my way... :smile:

Congratulations what fantastic news! It's actually pretty funny that when I called my DH at work to tell him LFry got prep he knew exactly what I was taking about and we celebrated for you. The forum family is very proud of you and this prep slot couldn't have gone to a more deserving candidate :thumb:
 
If we haven't received an appointment to the prep school yet is it safe to assume that we won't or are they still going out? :confused:

Thank you, and that is funny! :smile: It means a lot that you guys care about us all as applicants/candidates/appointees. I can't imagine how nerve wracking it'd be to go through this process back before internet was around or in it's early stages. I would have so many unanswered questions.

You stand a chance of receiving a prep school appointment until the second week of May. Don't give up!

As my son and his buddies say to each other when there's good news to be shared, "that's sick, dude"! Congrats kid! You're an exemplary student that has been justly rewarded. I have been following your journey with great hope and interest. At my age it is still inspring when things work out the way they were meant to.:thumb:

i received my appointment to the Prep School today!!! (I'm enlisted and notice that I'm the first LEAD applicant on the forums to hear back.)

Congrats on the Prep School. I am excited to having the opportunity to meet you all when you get into the academy for 2017. You are all extremely deserving. I have no doubt you will make great leaders.
 
My daughter's status just changed today. She will be joining you at the PS! What a journey this has been for her the last 12 months! Can't wait to see what it holds for all of you in the next four years. Congratulations to all of you!:thumb::shake:

Need your help on this one, Lfry94. My daughter isn't on here... but guess we can put her name as AlyssaT, CA... what's the numbers for after the state? And today's date.

Usually a parent will put their user name and then DD or DS in parenthesis directly after it. If you want to use AlyssaT, that's perfectly fine. In your case it would look like:
4. Adrian S (DD), CA-??, April 18th

The two numbers are your congressional district.
