Any word from Congressman Perry in PA-04? He has been slow in the past, so living up to expectations, I guess.
I know the wait is awful, last week my son got nom call from MOC & right after phone conversation his portal status changed to nom. Was strange do MOC have access to portal??
 
Mike Kelly from PA-3 - [20] Congressional Nominations to at least one of the (4) Service Academies

WASHINGTON — U.S. Representative Mike Kelly (PA-03) today announced the names of his nominees to the United States Military Academies for the class of 2020. These candidates have completed an extensive application process and were interviewed by Rep. Kelly’s independent Military Academy Advisory Board, whose members include prestigious veterans and academy alumni from the Third Congressional District of Pennsylvania.

PA-8, Congressman Mike Fitzpatrick joined Bucks and Montgomery county students, families and military veterans on Wednesday to announce his selections for military service academy nominations.

This year’s class includes 36 nominees with recommendations to the U.S. Naval Academy, the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, the U.S. Air Force Academy, and the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy.

COSTELLO ANNOUNCES 2016 SERVICE ACADEMY NOMINEES

West Chester, PA – Today, Congressman Ryan Costello (PA-06) announced that 32 students in Pennsylvania’s Sixth Congressional District have received his nomination to one of our nation’s prestigious service academies. In an effort to assist in the nomination process, Congressman Costello appointed community members with a military background to a nonpartisan Academy Advisory Board. The Academy Advisory Board selects nominees based on academic achievements, leadership skills, extracurricular activities, physical fitness, and character.

Congressman Costello congratulated the individuals on their nomination: “I applaud these fine students on their motivation to serve our nation and their interest in wearing the uniform at one of our nation’s military academies. These students have demonstrated tremendous leadership in their communities and schools and I have no doubt that they will excel at the highest level. It is a high privilege to offer these nominations and I thank these young men and women for their willingness to serve our nation.”

It is important to note that the nomination from Congressman Costello does not guarantee admission to a service academy. The final admittance remains up to the academies’ admissions boards.
