Pro's / Con's

Pima; If you and Bullet ever get out to the academy for a home football game; we have one of the best tail-gates. Prior to ending the tail-gate and moving onto the game, we always toast one of our own's father and all those in spirit. But toast aside, I really do like the taste of it. mike

WOAH! This thread got HUGE fast I was only off the site for a couple of weeks and now this is the biggest one! Hope everyone was well while I was gone!

Falcon, yes that sometimes has a tendency to happen!

Christcorp: Can I come to the tailgater too?? Steeler fans know how to do this really well!

Of course you can come to the tailgate. It's open to everyone. It's also about the largest one there. We've had the navy guys there, their friends, fans/family of the opposite team, etc... But it is definitely air force family. Current cadets, family, alumni, active duty, retired, etc... It a family. And more food than you can handle. All are always welcome. (Even Pittsburgh fans). lol!!!!! later... mike...

i might have to stop by next year just to meet you christcorp. most of us in '13 will want to come with i'm sure

No problem. It would be MY HONOR to meet all of you. Might get a chance to see my son. "2012". Unless he's dressing for the football game. Either way, I'll be there. later.... mike.....

P.S. For all you that are on this forum and make it to BCT this summer; don't forget where you came from. Just like the other cadets who participate on this forum, your contributions to those aspiring for the class of 2014 and beyond are highly sought after. While I feel honored if I was able to provide any useful information or motivation to those of you who have applied; the truth is, each of you, especially those who get accepted and enter the academy, have more valuable information about the academy to pass on than I or anyone else (Not a current cadet) here does. So don't be strangers. Take all the great experiences you've gained in the last year or so and "Pay it Forward". later... mike....

P.S.S. Football games are MANDATORY for the cadets; so we'll have at least 6 games to run into each other.

I will definitely be looking out for you CC. The smell of hamburgers and hot dogs has never lead me wrong anyway.

as long as you let me eat food with more than 7 allowed chews im happy:biggrin:

"7 allowed chews"???
is that during BCT??
how is that possible!?

If I'm not mistaken, that rule has been slashed. Current cadets, I'm I right?

Yes that rule is no longer used during BCT or during the academic year. However, you will get called out for taking too big a bite....

lol even if it isn't it's really not that hard. You will mess up no matter what at plenty of other things. This is really the least of what to be stressed about

And I hope you like chicken. My son says the sure do eat a lot of it. And he eats with team mates, so they get "Healthy" (Yuk tasting) chicken at that.

PLEASE tell me this is also applies for USMA. pleasee.

Haha nah man they didn't change their policy on that. At USMA during Beast you have to eat in I think 5 chews???? Im not sure, but I am sure its a certain amount :thumb:

flyersboy114 - you are right, I think it's 5-7 chews.
This is the main reason why New Cadets go hungry - not because there is not enough food

Hey, sounds like my HS. Chicken strips on monday, chicken patty on bun for wednesday.

Pizza on wed...burger on Thursday and Tacos on Friday...all that can be devoured in less than 7 bites:shake:
