Funny! We have a town post office. Each day the drive into town with anticipation hoping for a yellow sheet! Yes, a yellow sheet indicating that we have something too large to fit in the box.

Common BFE substitutes? Charlie's Soap and a shipment of chicks :)
 
Based on the dates posted in the appointment thread, it is must likely you find out later in the week(Thursday and Friday). Which makes sense because I believe the board meets mid-week(Tuesday or Wednesday), if I'm not mistaken.

Thursdays but I think they have gone to twice a week now.
 
The BFE , in our case, was just tossed on the driveway ... mailman did not even try to come to the door!!

Our BFE arrived yesterday... mailman put it next to the front door. I pulled in the driveway and saw twes sticking out of the mailbox and then put my eyes down and here it was... manila envelope.

Congratulations Dell! Still witing here. I have been leaving my mailbox door open, if I see it is closed I know the mail has come. It's nerve wracking.... Now, I've started some stupid game while I drive asking God for a sign, "oh look that car has a Navy sticker, that's a sign!", "Oh look at all those Marine billboards". Funny how I ignore all the cars with the State University stickers all around me and focus on the car with the American flag sticker. Hahaha, I need help, my DS thinks I need to "chill". Mail comes in 2 1/2 hours.

wompwomp, you made me laugh out loud because DH (Darling Husband) does the same thing...signs are everywhere!! HA! Please let us all get in just so we can meet and enjoy the next four years together. You guys are all life savers...i thought i was the only nutty one!!
 
Congratulations Dell! Sit back and have a adult drink and relax for us. My family thinks I am nuts, but my youngest DS has it right. He said, "Mom just analyzes and stresses for all of us." Well ya got that one right! Waiting until drive time to go into the post office hoping for the yellow slip...

so...my mailman is on strict instructions to come straight to my house if he has a BFE for my DS. He even said he would bring it over to where I work (store in town)! So me waiting for the mail really doesn't matter - unless of course it's a TWE - so basically I am now terrified to go to the mail - the other exception would be if we had a temporary mail person for the day! so much angst! just want to know... thought some of you would find that funny :smile: I also think I can hear the mail truck 4 houses away - I think maybe I should get out more! :eek:
