USCGA 2020 appointments

OK....I'm hanging tight. I know they are busy and I don't want to hold them up. Let's just hope she's not WaitListed....I don't think I can survive that one!
 
I agree with NavyHoops, totally. Decisions that are due to be released in a timely manner and will not given over the phone. Just wait and let things flow. We will find out soon.

From this thread and older threads if you applied EA you will receive 1 of 3 responses by the 24th. Acceptance , rejection, or wait listed. Wait listed status could carry on for sometime.

I forgot scholar option....

And then there's waitlist for the prep school option also! The facebook page for families of the 2020 class only has 19 members (including 2 adminitrators). I'm not quite sure what to make of that. I don't think I've been as anxious for Christmas Eve to get here since when I was 9!
 
I seem to remember reading that 40% of USCGA students are admitted thru EA....truth??
 
It's better than Christmas, will my son get an appointment or a lump of coal? His plan b is fine too, but how amazing will it be for the kids that do get appointments on Christmas Eve!

I'm happy to report that all Early Action decisions have been finalized and published. Decision letters are available on an applicant's application homepage which is accessible by logging in directly or via the Bear's Den.
 
west coast dad....I was under the impression that the Acceptances will go out before 12/24 and then the rejections go out on 12/24. Hmmm....maybe Objee or NavyHoops can clarify....
 
DD - Northern CA, received a phone call regarding appointment in November, received official appointment paperwork this week from CGA. To those who did not receive an appointment, please be aware that there will be other opportunities. You have the opportunity to reapply next year, or you may have the opportunity to attend a foundation school.
 
We're also wondering about the Waitlist appointment numbers!! Do we really have to wait till May?? Please, Objee, can you give us some specifics??
