Come Tuesday night, at least some MOCs will have been unseated. For those of you seeking noms, DO NOT FEAR.
As you know from government class, the new "class" of MOCs won't be seated until late January. Thus, the outgoing MOC will be the one to make noms. Most, if not all, of them will submit their slates before they leave office. For those that don't, they will probably leave a list for the "new guy/gal" who can submit them. I'm sure there are a handful of horror stories of gaps, but rest assured they are extremely rare. Elections happen every 2 yrs (for reps), people get booted out or leave voluntarily every year, and so there is nothing unusual here.
Thus, if you already have a nom or get a nom from a MOC who is leaving (voluntarily or otherwise), you will be fine.
