My DD said it is on her portal.
 
Trying to figure out what ‘accepted candidates’ means and this is what I found on west-point.org…so it seems like the messge in the portal that we’re all seeing is really just meant for those candidates that have received an appointment and have accepted that appointment…so agree with @bethf - seems kinda mean to put it in everyone’s portal haha - likely a mistake.

“An offered candidate has a little bit of time to contemplate whether or not they will accept the offer - usually until around the first part of May. When they accept, they accept their "appointment" and become accepted candidates. On R-Day they become New Cadets. After Beast Barracks and when the Corps returns in the late summer and accepts them into the Corps, they become full-fledged Cadets.”

Is there anyone here that's not seeing this? If so I guess it means something. If not I assume it's a mistake.

is your DS/DD 3Q on NWL? Just trying to see if we have any similarities until more people respond to whether they too are seeing this on their portal.

so is mine...so perhaps if others are not on the NWL and see it, then it must means it was portal update for everyone. If it's just those on the NWL maybe it's something positive to come.
