I would like to know when the Academy starts to send out appointment letters. Do people who turn in their applications earlier get a decision made earlier?
my application was 100% complete about three weeks ago, and i got an offer of appointment today ! so it could happen any time. i also did receive a presidential nomination about a week and a half ago.
i know, i wasn't expecting to hear so soon!wow thats very fast! how are your SAT scores? I feel like mine are low.
I would also like to know about being 3q'd.
Should I assume that I am not qualified in any of the three areas untill they send me a letter saying I am?
would I receive a 3q'd letter before any other letters?
Received my appointment September 24th, 2010. There are 4 others on this forum who have received an appointment also.

No doubt that those with Presidential/ROTC noms with an LOA potential resume would receive their appointments already. Good job!
Others who received LOAs like me would receive appointments as their nominations fill in, or any other stipulation is met, Im assuming.
Normally, in CT, the if you receive a nomination from one of the Senators you will be contacted and congratulated by phone by a staff member. This takes place before the packet arrives to your home. Your BGO can confirm this.
If indeed you have receive an offer of appointment there is no need to seek another nomination. By going for that 2nd nomination you would be taking an opportunity away from another qualified candidate.
Depending on when your Congressional interviews are, I would make sure I had that appointment in hand before I made any rash decisions.
