Except of course for Tuition, Home prices, Rent, Utilities, Transportation, Medical, Food (depending on where you live) and a few other basic needs, but hey gas prices are down so I guess that off sets it. Speaking more for the Civilian sector.
Well, but for most military members - GI bill, BAH/on post housing/I didn't pay for utilities when I lived on post housing/, Tricare, and possibly Commissary being cheaper. Not sure what you meant by transportation. So for most military members, they would have minimum increase in their living expanses.

Transportation, I was referring to the cost of automobiles.
My inability to read . . .
My two cents on the cost of automobiles is that it's neutral as there are plenty of choices. My pet peeve is a white collar worker that lives in a suburb driving F250 to work . . . I used to drive a SUV, now a sedan.
