Hello everybody! I am a second time applicant to the USMA. Currently enrolled in a local university and rocking the AROTC life.
Last year, I was deemed medically disqualified for the year and was encouraged to reapply, so here I am.
My medical waiver was initially denied because of slight redness on the inside of my elbows and on the backs of my knees.
Per recommendation of a dermatologist under the stress that I do not want prescription ointments, after a change of diet and a better skin care routine, my eczema has been resolved.
This has been confirmed by two doctors letters (saying there is no sign of eczema, skin is clear), and my professor of military science saying that I can participate in all military and physical activities with no restraint. I scored the highest PFT score within my company, if I can brag a little!
Any thoughts on my situation or recommendations would be GREATLY appreciated. My heart won’t be broken if I don’t get in, but it would be an honor I surely won’t forget. Thanks.
