Sent him to an allergy/asthma specialist this am for spirometry & evaluation. Had him take the results with him passing with 100% and notation by the dr that he never had, nor does he have, asthma. Hoped that helped...DS's asthma waiver was very simple and quick. Wait to see what they ask for. All they wanted from us was Pharmacy records.
Why do you anticipate he will be DQ'd for asthma? You will need pharmacy records if prescribed any medication for asthma (or inhalers), as well as ADD. They asked for my dd's pharmacy records from the Jan1 prior to her 13th birthday (to present). Also, get the medical records pertaining to why those medications were prescribed (asthma and ADD). And then wait and see if any additional medical tests are requested.Sent him to an allergy/asthma specialist this am for spirometry & evaluation. Overprotective mom=my fault... DS was prescribed medication for ADD (no formal diagnosis procedure) after I told dr that his teacher was disappointed that he wouldn't sit still in class in elementary school. They seemed to "slow him down" physically, but made him feel terrible and had no impact on academics. We filled them on and off for two years, and then just stopped right around that 13th bday. Why do you anticipate he will be DQ'd for asthma?
