West Point SLE 2021

Recently received my acceptance into SLE. It had the line "Your selection to SLE does more than invite you to attend the seminar. It also confirms you as one of our very top candidates for admission.". I'm a little confused by this, as the academies consistently stress that SLE has no bearing on admissions. Did anyone get this message too, or have any insight?

I got that too, I'm guessing they say it doesn't have an impact to not discourage people who don't get in.

Click on the link in the sle@westpoint.edu email. It will bring you to a change password screen. Then input your password and use that in the Candidate Portal, SLE Community section.

Correction and to clarify some confusion (candidates that are accepted or declined by Admissions) - rolling Accepts (candidates being selected) started today, 13 April, with more going out over the next few weeks. Admissions will notify those not selected (Declined) beginning on 26 April after all net offers have been taken and sessions filled.
 
I got an email saying I got accepted to SLE, and I've been trying to login to the SLE website to finish up the process but it keeps saying that my username and password are wrong (for the email I'm using the username I was given to use and for the password I'm using my Cadet Login Portal password). Could somebody help?

I got in too! See you on the virtual SLE! Not sure how many have been chosen?

Click the link in the login email that says go to the SLE Application site. Do not go to SLE Community through the candidate portal.

Do you know where I can find that link? I looked at both of the emails sent to me and the only one with a link for SLE sends me to the SLE Community
 
congrats to you all! I wasn't considered since I didn't have an SAT, ACT, or PSAT ;-;

It should be in the email that gives you your username. It didn't work for me until I opened the link from my computer instead of my phone so make sure you are using a computer of some kind.

Huh.... That's weird. I'm using my laptop and I don't have a link given to me on that email. Only my username. Ill try to look at the email on my phone


(Update: Went to the email on my phone and found the link. Not sure why it's like that haha)
 
Well, DS has not received an invite. Very disappointing. He does have a good SAT score from college board on his application. Great GPA--all the other stuff--boys state, varsity letters in football and soccer, captain of soccer. FF just reached out to him Monday and wants to do an early interview. Still praying an invite comes in for him. I know others say they have been offered an appointment even if not invited to SLE. Still, very disappointing but holding out hope. He has not received a decline letter yet so there is still hope.
 
I got my acceptance letter this morning, but I still haven't gotten an email with my login info yet. Anyone else have the same problem?
