Congrats! Now finish up your loose ends.
Thanks and congrats to you too! I'll keep an eye out for that letter. Could I ask where you're from?Hey! Congrats on the LOA. I received mine a few weeks ago, you'll receive a letter in the mail stating what you need to complete to receive an appointment. Also, do everything that you don't have in the "my progress" tab.

Congrats!!!! I look everyday, Could I trouble you to share your SAT and ACT scores, maybe gpa and home state?Received the great news of a conditional LOA this morning. The email the academy sent me said that I could find the conditions of my LOA on the portal but I could not find it anywhere. The application shows the image below:

Hi!! Just got mine too! do you know if once you complete those items, you’ve got an assured appointment? I have the presidential already, trying to figure out if I should continue interviewing for congressional nomsHey! Congrats on the LOA. It wouldn't hurt in my opinion! Congrats! And yes, once you complete those things and USNA receives them, you should be offered an appointment!Hi!! I would. For just the experience if nothing else.Hi!! Just got mine too! do you know if once you complete those items, you’ve got an assured appointment? I have the presidential already, trying to figure out if I should continue interviewing for congressional noms
ABSOLUTELY compete for ALL noms you are eligible for. You need to have as many opportunities for admissions to place you as they can. It even says on the USNA.edu website to ‘apply for all noms you are eligible’. Make sure and tell them you hold an LOA!Hi!! You need to have as many opportunities for admissions to place you as they can. Last year, a great candidate, with an LOA, ultimately didn’t receive an appointment. It happens.
TY, good catch!! Had ‘SA’s discretionary noms’ on my mind. Edited my post! But doesn’t one nom with LOA (assuming medically and CFA qualified) guarantee appointment offer?
LOAs that don’t get in are from a lack of a nomination or inability to get medical waiver.
Thank you! Good to know, if it is beneficial I will absolutely go for it. No harm in getting interview practice hahaTY, good catch!! Had ‘SA’s discretionary noms’ on my mind. Edited my post!
It’s still recommended to compete for all noms you are eligible for. There isn’t a downside, as far as I can see. And USNA recommends it.
More congrats to all receiving good news. Exciting time of the cycle
