From a purely personal perspective...I hope that's a great indicator of magic coming your way.For me even if I try to select a school and to update the list the "update list" still doesn't give me the chance to change the schools I want to add. It is still shaded gray
Where did you hear/see this information? I would also love to know how many applications were reviewed 1st board.Any word on 163 out of how many total number of eligible candidates?
yes you're right sorry for the bad updateI thought the same thing about the greyed out button, but if I select a school from the dropdown, the update button becomes live again?
Are you sure you just don't have something chosen for the drop-down list?I do not know if this means anything, but on the schools of intent section, the update list button is light grey and cannot be changed. Is this the “locked” feature I am hoping for? Yesterday I was looking for something in red saying “locked”.
Same with DS’s button it is light grey and can not change school list even if he selects a new school.I do not know if this means anything, but on the schools of intent section, the update list button is light grey and cannot be changed. Is this the “locked” feature I am hoping for? Yesterday I was looking for something in red saying “locked”.
I am afraid to change anything or click anything on my application other than to check my status. So I have not tried to add or change schools. Are you sure you just don't have something chosen for the drop-down list?
I've found the same thing. The "school of intent" depends on the device. Also depends on what device you are using. On a phone, it cannot be moved but on a laptop, it can. Still waiting.
Has anyone gotten any sort of notification from their chosen school/PMS?
I'd say it would depend on situation... do you have a decision you need to make that depends on receiving the scholarship? Is it not acceptable to reach out to the PMS you interviewed with to ask if you’ve been selected since the PMSs should have the list?
Football certainly helps the wait! While my DS was anxious during his cycle, and so was I, I would suggest everyone step away from their devices and go for a walk, run, check out a movie, spend time with friends and family. You can't change what happens at this moment, you've done your best it's out of your hands.
No matter what happens, soon your lives will change dramatically and you won't see your friends and family nearly as much as you will want to.
I get the excitement and nerves, I do. I empathize (having a few flashback moments reading this thread). BUT, you may soon be counting days in between hugging mom and dad, siblings, friends (168 days in between day 1 of plebe summer and my airport hug for Christmas break--- but who's counting??).
Spend your days with them now. Let the email notification be a surprise that interrupts you having a great visit with someone you love. Good luck to you all.
Only if you follow the right teams.Football certainly helps the wait!
Hello! The 163 # was from a previous post about AFROTC. Just wanting to know for curiosity sake 163/??Where did you hear/see this information? I would also love to know how many applications were reviewed 1st board.
You asked so I’ll share an opinion. no. let the PMSs and ROOs of the nation run their units. I’d suggest waiting for your notifications through proper channels. Yes, she/he knows by now, and yet…Is it not acceptable to reach out to the PMS you interviewed with to ask if you’ve been selected since the PMSs should have the list?
