mom14: Just a sidebar note. Everyone is different, so take this as just a "Whatever" statement. Depending where you're from, some youth's acne is affected by their climate/environment. I grew up in New Jersey, with 98% humidity. I was always breaking out. "Didn't use medicine back then; just dealt with it". However, when I came out to New Mexico, Colorado, Wyoming, etc... the dry climate practically cleared it up over night. Even winters are dry. I thought I was just outgrowing it, "Which in time I did"; but when I went back home a couple times for vacation, I started to break out again. "Slightly". So, you never know. He might just get to 7000 feet and dry, and clear up. Now, if you happen to come from dry and high, then totally disregard. Just something I've noticed with some teens.
