    CORTRAMID Meals

I would love to get some feedback from parents about their Mid's meals at CORTRAMID EAST. Just interested to hear what is being said about meals and Mids keeping fueled with the hectic schedule.

    NSI Graduation Ceremony (NROTC)

It clearly depends on your schedule, your resources, and whether it is important to your kid. We did go, as I knew it was important for our son. It is true that the ceremony is about an hour, and you get probably 20 minutes with your child before they ship them all off to the airport by bus. I...

LETTERS BEING SENT OUT THIS WEEK FOR NON SELECTS (NROTC)

If your kid is selected for a scholarship and is waiting for a DODMERB waiver/completed physical you can substitute a sports physical to participate in NSI. The form is included with the NSI paperwork and is also available here...

LETTERS BEING SENT OUT THIS WEEK FOR NON SELECTS (NROTC)

When you think about the financial and life benefits that are involved here plus the overall excellent quality of the candidates that is amazing. I am surprised there aren't a ton more candidates who want to serve. My son attends a school where an NROTC scholarship turns into a full ride. It...

LETTERS BEING SENT OUT THIS WEEK FOR NON SELECTS (NROTC)

CAPT Meyers- So trying to focus on the positive here, can you tell us what the overall selection rate is compared to the number of completed and submitted applications?

How much money does the NROTC program really give you?

While you should give primary consideration to selecting a school that feels like a fit for you, you can also take into consideration what additional benefits each school offers. My son attends a school that picks up R&B for all ROTC scholarship students regardless of branch. That essentially...

    NSI Packing List 2022

So my DS shared the NSI packing list with me. I got a little chuckle as it says "2" pair of underwear. NSI is I think 17 days. I assume they are not issuing underwear but what do I know. Maybe they are. I also can't imagine they are sending out one pair of underwear to the laundry everyday...

    "Turned Down"

Please, take it down a thousand. I challenge you or anyone on this forum who hasn't done something stupid or not in their own best interest when they were young. Everyone on this site knows what they did and did not do when they were 17, even if they don't want to admit it to themselves. If your...

    USNA 2026 Waiting and.… Waiting

I think the real question is if you are CPR, are you REALLY CPR? When you look at past years and you see candidates being CPR until April 14th and then receiving a rejection, one might make the conclusion that CPR is just a placeholder (i.e. A decision has already been made but for some reason...
